GRAY’S GUIDONS is the literary blog where I:
- Feature my Historical Fiction series, the BLACK KNIGHTS OF THE HUDSON (which relates the saga of the MacKendricks, a fictional U.S. Army family).

- Discuss other writers in Historical Fiction.
- Present occasional short stories or items of historical interest.
- Provide links to my books about the MacKendricks or matters of interest.
- Provide a Reference page which contains books and web links that pertain to the series that may be of interest to the reader.
Although the BLACK KNIGHTS OF THE HUDSON series is published in eBook format only at this time, those without eReaders may still download a pdf version (for viewing on your PC or printing) or an html version (for viewing in your web browser) via SMASHWORDS.COM. For those readers who purchase any of the books in the series, thank you very much! If you enjoy the book or books, please take the time to leave a review where you made the purchase. Independent authors rely heavily on word of mouth and reviews on AMAZON, BARNES AND NOBLE, SMASHWORDS, and other eBook retailers, help that process. Solid reviews also serve to help an author improve. Authors must continually hone their craft and reviews often uncover issues that made the book less enjoyable for the reader.
